In my old church, the pastor would always talk about the 'hypocrites' (is there more than one kind?) who would pray in public for attention rather than do it at home in private. I don't know that much about my old church, but I don't think they were really into the whole 'feigned piety' business. Apparently street preachers are not included among the 'hypocrites' because they are not actually praying...
