My dear American friend, as a person who was born into the end of a Empire, I admire your spunk, but have you not seen the writing on the wall. Your economy is fucked only kept alive by the Chinese giving you hand outs, even in your back yard the latinos no longer pay any attention to you. and in your own country immigrants can't be bothered to learn your version of english, You are a fat and lazy people who can't make cars that don't rust in a week, and nobody anywhere else in the world would bother to buy one. Your only hope would be if the Canadians came an sorted your problems out for you, and now your are even upsetting them. The British empire was short lived as Empires go only lasting just over 200 years but you didn't even manage 70. You have to face it your time in the sunshine is over, you had better start learning to be nice to other people.

Post script. In years to come when America is looked back on I wonder what will be remembered, The Egyptians Art. The Greeks philosophy. Romans Architecture, Even the French can boast a sophisticated culture, America all I can think of of the top of my head is the Hamburger.
