To obtain a print of your screen, in windows:

-> Press the PrtScr key (usually, at the right of F12) - This will copy everything you see on your screen to the clipboard.
-> Open your favorite image processing program... MSPaint works for this purpose.
-> Paste the contents of the clipboard on that program, CTRL+V.
-> Select the part that interests you, copy it, create a new document and paste it there (in MSPaint, this means losing the whole screen image).
-> Save the image. If you want people to be able to read the text, save it as a PNG file.
-> Upload the file to your favorite image host. I use photobucket.
-> Copy the link they give you to the post your writing on this forum.

It's possible to save a couple of steps if, after selecting the part you want, you then crop the image rather than copy/paste into a new document. Either way works just as well, though, and you may find advantages in one over the other. As in most things, YMMV.

Indeed.... MSPaint in XP didn't have this crop function... did it?
