Are there any skydivers in our midst? I've been jumping since March of this year. I did three tandems initially & then in May I took the six-hour class with my pal Brett & began jumping solo (post-classroom training). He had twenty-five jumps prior to my first solo jump, but had to take the refresher class since it had been roughly six years since his last jump. It's truly the most amazing experience one can ever have, in my opinion. It's like nothing else! I will admit, for a time I went through a bit of a trial & error period & was over-thinking the entire process. My goal is to obtain my A-license by next jump season. I now have eight jumps under my belt & cannot wait to continue on in my journey.
I thought I'd also include two videos of jumps I did. The first video is the last tandem I did & was just less than a month before I took part in my first solo jump. The second video is of my second solo jump & first one with my pal, Brett & this was his first jump back into the sport. Both videos turned out wonderfully! Also, there's a thirty-five second introduction on each video, so feel free to fast forward your way through. I hope you enjoy them!
Also, any questions about the sport, I'd be more than happy to answer, as I've researched a lot & have been surrounded by skydiving veterans for nearly a year now.
