As stated above this is an open PUBLIC forum.

Are you SURE you want the entirety of your pathetic life on here exposed to those who see the word atheism and dive back into their protective little shells?? Are you certain you want to expose your failure??

Indeed it is. But like I said I told one of you that I had no intention to share what goes on here with any other members of the church I was attending. something changed and now I want to share what goes on here with a few church members.

I said one thing now have an oppertunity to benfit by going back on what was said. I simply did not think it right to say one thing and do another and benfit from it without sharing what has changed.

You have to go through actual interviews to get into a church??

The interview is for a possiable teaching position.

They are simply being faithful to their understanding of the bible.

I wouldn't tell them you consort with atheists. They'll probably kick you out on your ass almost instantly. Churches are awfully quick to judge despite the teachings of their messiah telling people to never do that. Proof: You have to go through an interview, which is essentially a judgment panel.

The command is "Judge not lest you be judged in the same way you judge others." Meaning whatever you use to judge other people that standard will be used to judge you. The command is not: "Don't judge." The command is: "Don't be a hipocrite."

But hey, I won't say you shouldn't use anything here for said interview; by all means, cherry-pick that which works for you and that which does not...er...I mean...I am sure you'll be completely fair and unbiased about what you've read and engaged in here.

If I was looking to do this dishonestly then why would I ask to use any of this above board?

Since this is an open, anonymous forum on the internet, I see no problem with you using discussions here for your interview, and I do commend you for asking what everyone thinks first. I am, like the others, confused as to what you think showing these discussions would accomplish.

(BTW, you might not want to show them your thread on soulless, monkey men hypothesis.)

To give an honest assessment of what it is I believe and how I go about presenting it, even in the face of stern/strongly worded opposition.

The 'Monkey Man' Thing being at the top of the list. I want them to know how what kind of crazy they are getting themselves into. If they can provide sound biblical direction that dispells my theory then I will gladly yeild to it. If not, and they ask me not to teach it I can do that too.
