You don't want Bush on steroids? Have you seen the stuff the Obama administration has done over the past 4 years?

He extended the Patriot act, increased the amount of warrantless spying, signed the National Defense Authorization Act, which permits the government to hold suspects of terrorism indefinitely without trial (even if they are American), and operates a secret kill list.

But that's ok, because at least he closed Guantanamo right? Oh...yeah.

He signed those provisions under immense pressure from the right. FOX hasn't shutup for the past 2 weeks 24/7 about the Libya "incident" something I actually posted about, in this website, when mitt said it was another example of obama being bad (or some bullshit) the day it happened. http://atheistforums.org/thread-14769.html

So, now where talking about whether OBAMA politicized it? (well that's not what their talking about but at this point FOX should just start caling Obama an alien from Mars they'd get the same amount of viewers) but, what do think would happen if he moved all of guantanomo into the united states?

Anyway, he said those provisions can't be applied by his office, and it's been shown in court it can't be used on american citizens. Republicans were happy with this compromise because they can still re-enact it when they get elected, and democrats were happy because it meant Obama would not use them while he's in office, it might be political trickery, but it was a comprise that saw alot of debate, so if you know of any recent occurences of unwarranted wiretapping please report it as soon as possible
