Now that I go back and reread this, actually I don't think it will necessarily make them go back to hating Mormons - if the fundies of all Christian sects believe that he's a heathen bastard, they're going to still say "better it were a Mormon than the guy we've got now" - at least until the next election.

And I have a feeling they'll be grasping for anything if the numbers of the religious keep dropping.
