To explain, Napoléon was loosely quoting yourself. However Napoléon used a word based on the term Yank which of course means a person of North American origin, with the two letters added on the end 'in' which as we all know refers to the internal part of an object. Consequently we can infer he is saying there is an american within it.

Put this together Napoléon is saying the chain is from the Northern United States of America, and you are inferring the chain is coated in a spicy seasoning. As it is often advisable to coat Americans in some flavouring or other before eating them, as they tend to dry out in the cooking proses, and lack natural taste, these statements are not mutually exclusive and we can say you are both singing from the same hymn sheet.
