This is an elaborate scheme by the Illuminati to make us believe that they have one of our most treasured old grumps and they will hold him hostage until we go to war with one another thus allowing them to begin their next phase to start the New World Order.
That or...maybe his internet's crapped out. Or he's feeling very anti-social. I've had that happen. Months go by where contact with other people, even ones you really like, just revolts you. I won't start worrying until he's failed to say anything or show up by mid-December. Past that point and then I'll be worried.
