Ecstasy as a Treatment for PTSD?

MDMA has a promising future in that regard. Our illegal drugs can give us a lot more than a high. They can be used to bring neurotransmitter levels to near-normal (or at least make you feel as if they are normal) or to create painkillers (They are trying to make a THC based painkiller where the only side effect is euphoria, but they need to remove the euphoria before they can continue). Our law prevent even medical testing on these drugs, which is really lame. Imagine a world with side-effect free painkillers. :'D
