I'm as lax about jokes as the next person, and partially because of my father (who has a dark and deep sense of humor that includes racial and stereotypical humor) and because of my mother's side of the family (Eastern European Jews who were sarcastic in the extreme), I have a pretty broad, deep, and multi-layered sense of humor myself that forgives a lot. And this includes Nazi jokes, where even my mother dare not go.
But I'm getting goddamn tired of people in this country, and particularly on this forum, slinging that word around.
Jokes about being a grammar nazi are all well and good, but the continued repetitive use of it as if you have even the faintest fucking clue what it actually means is more infuriating than listening to Glenn Beck use it, or even hearing Fox News sling it around, or use "communist" or "socialist". And to give you an idea of how infuriating, I generally don't watch Beck OR Fox because I have a habit of throwing the nearest object at the TV screen.
