Let's recap the actual words employed:
Playing the conspiracy game is what was regarded as being fun. Twisting that into a false observation that JFK's murder was fun is playing into Capn's hands with regards to ignorance, n'est-ce pas?
In other words, it might not be to your advantage to give your opponent ammunition, merely to score cheap points.
