Still hasn't happened since, so I think its no big deal.

I saw a single mysql error as well - didn't capture it as it was a transient thing, but IIRC it was unable to connect to the server socket.
If it just happened, that was me. I restarted the MySQL server. For some reason logging wasn't enabled...now it is.
