I was brought up a "Christian" child (as are most of my friends). I can't agree more with Richard Dawkins that raising your child as a "Christian" (or Muslim, Buddist, etc) is wrong. They should be taught from a young age about the various religions out there, the argument for and against and have the freedom of choice to make up their own mind when they are older.
When, however, you were "brainwashed" as a child into Christianity it fucks up in a way your freedom of choice. If you were taught from an early age that it is wrong to question the Bible, Christianity and God and that you would go to hell if you do, a lot of people won't because they are scared. Therefore a lot of people (incl. my friends) won't ever question Christianity.
That's why I agree with Secularone but is it moral though? Like I've mentioned before, some people need something to believe in?
