All three of the examples you gave bothers me gravely, and I do petition my government to do otherwise, but so far no one here listens to me.
I am especially disturbed by the callousness of my neighbors. When I ask them what is the goal for these two current wars, they can't tell me. At most they say for "stability", and I then ask for a stable what? I ask, "when does a father forgive and forget an invading country that killed his son?" When will he become stable?

I am an atheist anti-theist. I do see the goal of destroying the religion of Islam as a virtuous goal. Yet my country is afraid of doing anything to offend the superstitious.

I fell sorry for any free thinker,scientist or any bright mind in USA that are living in red neck states and can not move out of there. My anti-USA comments always targets red neck states not the whole country,so just to be clear.

Well i rather watch USA in Iraq than chines. I think that if USA moves out of Iraq the chines will go there very quickly and i hate
chines(government) even more than the USA's(they are even an grater threat to Europe than USA). So your neighbours might be right at all.And lets be clear the war is feeding USA pretty well,many business are still running just because of the war,so many people still have jobs. This is a Sick world how one can make a living out of other suffering

'Redneck' was also a popular term that was used to identify unionized coal miners in the Appalachian region....they wore red bandannas around their necks....

One origin of the term redneck actually go back to the 1930's in a number of disputes in West Virginia. A large group of unionized miners marched south to Logan County, to pressure the mine owners there to allow their miners to become unionized. To identify themselves, the miners all wore red bandannas around their necks. The publicity associated with the battles and the subsequent court cases created the term red-necks, and at that time they were viewed as the good guys in the conflict.
