Personally, I think the stupidest law is that suicide is a chargeable offense. It is your own life and you aren't hurting anyone except yourself (except emotionally if you have family, of course, but this is entirely circumstantial).

I'm not trying to imply I'm suicidal, don't get me wrong, but thinking about it, I do think its fairly silly to disallow someone to end their own life if they so wish. Admittedly, sometimes the suicidal person has a reason for wanting to end his life which isn't exactly valid but it is still his life at the end of the day.
