Will Religion and Athiesm ever compromise?
#65
RE: Will Religion and Athiesm ever compromise?
I used to think the answer to this was no, but i am friends with religious people and so far have managed to not argue with them to the point of hatred. But im almost certain if it came down to it, and we questioned each other extremely, it would be my religious friend who would be angry at being questioned and not me. I almost never get angry at any questions asked to me by any religious person, even the really simple and seemingly stupid questions ive seen atheists get asked many times by religious people.
Basically if i understand the question right as being can an atheist every get along well with a non religious person i think the answer is yes some of the time as long as you dont talk about religion too much.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
