In some cases, and this is just my theory it may be completely wrong, i think poor people do this in far east asian places for example, in order to be able to make money easier. Being a woman its easier to make money as a prostitute, but then they would have had to have quite a bit of money in the first place to be able to afford the op so im not sure if im right on this one

I know asian countries are not as accepting towards gayity than western countries, so a guy being with a transexual would be easier on them to have a gay lifestyle.
