I'm a libertarian and a big believer in free speech. I've been suspended many times from Catholic websites, and totally banned from a Christian one -- and I no longer bother debating with them. I realized that it was a big waste of time. However I still strongly support their right to ban people like me and run their website in the manner that they choose. And I think that we have a right to be critical of religion on this website.
I think that what you are really fighting is the voicing of opinions different than your own. We are not doing anything to anybody, we are just expressing our opinions. Are your really that afraid to hear what other people think? Or are you afraid that your religion is so fragile that some of the believers will lose their faith if they are able to read critical viewpoints? This "God" of yours is pretty weak.
of course your an libertarian.. otherwise why attack what I said and ignore the basis of why I said it?
I honestly do not care what Minnie says nor Cinjin so long as they remain with in the realm of personal opinion, and my record here shows this to be true as I do not get into opinionated shouting matches for the sake of changing what one thinks to what I think. (Which kinda blows you whole agrument in of itself.) That said I do deman accountablity when one attempts to make a change in document and accepted history, or makes an empty assertion against a well established reference book. These two have a long standing history of bullying their beliefs on to other with little to 'proof' of what they argue outside anti christian fundementalist websites.
If My call for Real Proof rather than trying to strong arm people into their beliefs by strings of obsenities and personal attacks offends your libertarian sensablities, you can simple ignore all posts with the sunflower avatar. Because I do not see myself stopping this demand for proof any time soon.

I guess the difference lies on which side of the prison wall one stands. Fairness, freedom, love.. It all available on this side of God.
