While freedom of speech does not apply to forums and technically cannot, as this is a private enterprise, I know that stating opinions is not something the staff (typically) frowns upon, nor should they. Now, if this guy is a troll, then he's screwed here anyway. However, his support of anything illegal cannot be vilified more or less than anything else illegal based on the severity of the crime. That is simply because, if we are to make advocating illegal activities against the rules, we have to do it across the board. That means no more talking about smoking pot, underage drinking, etc. Now, before anyone jumps all over my case, I am well aware that they are victimless crimes. However, they are crimes. Besides, saying something is not wrong is not even close to saying that people should go out and do it or planning such an event, in which case I would suggest turning him over to the authorities. In short, if it is not something even police could act on, what the fuck is the gripe? It gives you guys something to talk about, so talk about it. Be a defender of the children, not a broom that sweeps such things under the rug as soon as they appear.
Also, in my opinion, this thread has become everything that the "Play nice or we hate this place" crowd complains about. I would toe the line or risk angry, "I hate what this forum has become" threads.
