I can probably give an example here and put it in plainer English than the flamey type nonsense that is going on. I honestly think Gil is just flaming you, Germans. I agree with what he is saying, but it appears he is saying it in a way that makes it sound like he is advocating actual child rape, which he isn't. He is advocating consensual sex between two mature individuals. That does not include little kids.
I lost my virginity when I was 13. While it was a bad idea, as I should have been focusing on other things in my life, I did not feel abused, despite the fact that the law would have called it "rape." This was just another teenager who happened to be a few years older than me. Not my favorite choice for a boyfriend, kind of an idiot, but he didn't "abuse" me. Neither of us was mature enough for one to have been called any sort of aggressor. To be honest, I was a curious kid. I wanted to have done with it, knew what "it" was and decided to go for it. At 13, I was quite tall and mature for my age. He didn't stand a chance. It was really mostly my doing. It has resulted in no emotional trauma. So, yes, there are cases where it won't cause damage. However, had I blabbed, he would have gone to jail, resulting in his life being ruined because I was a bit of trouble. He ruined it himself without my help, but I digress. Therefore, I do believe these laws are beneficial to protect the emotionally immature and the male participants in equal sexual relationships who are later singled out because of a grudge.
