A dog owner in Tennessee noticed his male dog humping another male dog and responds in a horrible way: brings the dog to a crowded shelter that tells him they're putting him to sleep the next day. Well, he would get put to sleep unless he was adopted, but it's damn hard to adopt out adult dogs.
Besides the outrage over animal rights, animal cruelty and homophobia, the owner is just plain stupid. Does he have any decent understanding of what humping is for dogs? Sex isn't the same for humans as it is for other species, y'know.
Well, anyway, today, things took a turn for the better. The story got so much coverage on facebook that someone went down there and adopted the poor dog.
