Evolution

Hello guys I had an argument with a mormon scientist (biochemist) About an evolution, he of course believe that evolution is a big load of crap and I as a growing scientist tried to disagree with him, however I am only building my scientific knowledge and means of arguing I would like you guys to help me to first expand my knowledge and secondly to prove him wrong, I am attaching the former comment that he made and I sincerely hope that I will here some responds related to this topic and to the comment thank you.

Creationist claims are numerous and varied, so it is often difficult to track down information on any given claim. Plus, creationists constantly come up with new claims which need addressing. This site attempts, as much as possible, to make it easy to find rebuttals and references from the scientific community to any and all of the various creationist claims.

This is a good one-stop shopping place, however I find the best defense to creationist nonsense is truly understanding the science yourself. Evolution is a complex and deep science, and many people who attempt to defend it would do well to learn it better themselves first. The t.o site is no longer maintained (added to), but by reading the material at that site one can become better educated about the subject as a whole, and particularly the nuances that creationists like to exploit. (Talk.origins was originally a usenet newsgroup which primarily served as a place for evolutionists to answer common creationist claims, and much of the material generated is of highly professional quality.). There's probably books to recommend, but the only one I've read that's relevant is Dawkins' The Blind Watchmaker, which, while good, isn't exactly a barnstormer.
