I dont judge you, or at least it is not my intention, or at least it is not my intention to judge your or anyones entire character on account of one statement.
How is "someone trying to arouse pitty through vulnerbility and sadness" pathestic? If someone does this through a disorder which requires that individual to be in the center of all attention, it might be seem pathetic, but should first and for most bring forth a reaction of concern.
