I'd just like to point out - and I seem to be doing a lot of this lately - that common sense and reason are not in any way similar, certainly not interchangeable. Common sense tells us that the sky revolves around us once a day. Reason tells common sense to go and play while the grownups talk.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
