Well, Miss TaraJo, actually I did not know, until you posted this line here. I generally take people at face-value (if they say and act as a woman, and ask to be treated that way [whatever that is] that is what I do). Acquaintances and friendships are much smoother if one doesn't pry into someone's personal life and only treats people as people (not based on what their outward appearance is).
I really do not care much what other people's sexual predilections are, who they want to date (same, opposite, both at the same time, numerous), or what gender they identify as or wish to be.
I care far more about such things as whether a person is honest, forthright, courteous, &c. I don't feel it is my place to pry into someone's private life about gender, unless they initiate the conversation about it.
As long as you are happy with it, that is all that matters.
