Actually... the 'as you lie with a woman' is what makes the sentence ridiculous in itself. If they just said: if a man lieth with a man, he has committed an act against nature... then it would be saying that having sex with someone of the same sex is a crime against nature. However, you absolutely cannot lie with a man as you would a woman: it is simply not possible.
I understand the authors original intent... however: a literal interpretation would have to conclude what I just 'concluded'. Not saying that interpretation is right or wrong... but it is yet another interpretation of the bible. No more moronic than any of the others
