Belief with faith has to be rational, because it can be nothing else. Are those rational conclusions valid... is down to the individual and their cognitive abilities.
I would argue that the vast majority of xtians have engaged in little or no rational thought regarding their faith. They simply parrot what has been told to them.
This constitutes blind faith. Faith without reflection of knowledge. Irrational belief.
