Before Eve there was "them", Adm (human).
Simple math and logic...

lets be clear here: god simply forgot to mention that he created other in distant lands at the same time as adam and eve? Can we also assume that these distant lands were outside of the garden? Can we assume that none of the other people he created we worthy of mention? Can we assume they all followed gods rules completely and didn't commit sins, or was there just on tree of knowledge that existed so they didn't have the opportunity to commit sin?
This is simple CHRISTIAN logic and math at its best.
