Plus it's getting crowded:Since ancient times Israel has had to fight and suffer for it's very existence. What the Jews suffered under Nazi Germany wasn't their only holocaust. The Northern Kingdom of Israel suffered an invasion and holocaust by the Assyrians...and then the Southern Kingdom of Judah suffered the same under the invading Babylonians. The Jews were forced into a diaspora, but were allowed to return to their homeland and rebuild under Persian rule until the Roman invasion of Israel in 70 A.D. In 1948 the Jews returned again to their ancient homeland only to suffer through more wars and threats of annihilation by its hostile Arab neighbors. Israel has given up too much and they have suffered too much to allow even just one grain of sand to be handed over to terrorists and to terrorist states, like Iran, who seek nothing more than its annihilation. Israel is not the criminal in this struggle.
So this was our backyard about 6 weeks ago, and way back and to the right there is a hilly area that is slated for a couple of hundred new homes.
But until this line is drawn, I'm reluctant to invest. I'd hate to put out a lot of cash and then lose it all. And we like the suburbs rather than being in a congested big city.
