Don't get me wrong, I mean I love imagination. We can imagine things all day long! If you want my opinion, however, then here is is. I do not believe that the universe can be conscious of itself. We know that according to the theory of relativity, that as the universe expands, there is no "Barrier" between something and nothing. If you go straight in one direction, you will end up back on Earth. It's sort of, inverted. Any living thing that is concievable cannot be infinite, yet limited, all life that we know is completely limited. This is just my opinion.
