I recall from my youth that the church was always taking up a collection for some one. The poor. The missions. The building fund. The new roof on the rectory. The fuckers always had their hand out for OUR money. I never remember them spending their own.

That's why I'm glad to see dioceses filing bankruptcy because they have to pay the victims of their predator priests. But don't go claiming about how wonderful the fuckers are because they take up collections for the poor. I'm sure the fuckers take a percentage for themselves.
