A little questionnaire is in order, I think. All of the following questions come from strawmen jstrodel built in this thread.

1. What is your age?

2. Are you married? Kids?

3. Are you angry or disappointed at "God"?

4. Do you subscribe to hedonism?

5. Are you an atheist because you want to be, without eternal consequences, sexually promiscuous? A drug addict? An alcoholic?

6. Do you like "psychedelic" music?

7. Was atheism "transmitted" to you from a "Marxist"?

8. Are you selfish?

9. Is your "community" centered around pornography?

10. Is your atheism a political statement?

11. Were you recruited into atheism by the promises of sex and drugs?


I'll go first:

1. What is your age? 36

2. Are you Married? Kids? No and no. Also, I have no desire for either.

3. Are you angry or disappointed at "God"? Since I doubt any deity could exist, how could I be angry?

4. Do you subscribe to hedonism? I would, but it sounds exhausting!

5. Are you an atheist because you want to be, without eternal consequences, sexually promiscuous? A drug addict? An alcoholic? I'm an atheist because I have no reason to believe in a deity.

6. Do you like "psychedelic" music? Oh yes please!

7. Was atheism "transmitted" to you from a "Marxist"? Uhm... I don't think so.

8. Are you selfish? I'm human, but I try to do as many unselfish things as I can.

9. Is your "community" centered around pornography? Well, I don't live too terribly far from LA. I know one guy who used to do porn, but now he's an IT guy.

10. Is your atheism a political statement? No.

11. Were you recruited into atheism by the promises of sex and drugs? And barbecued babies!
