I have no problem with capital punishment as long as there is no doubt about the guilt of the accused. Our system does not determine that to a sufficiently accurate degree, unfortunately.
What about the sexist gender selection systems that exist in places like India and China. They look at the sex of the embryo, keep if it is male, abort if it is female. Do you think that's perfectly acceptable from your own moral standpoint?
