Why do so many of you quote the bible and do nothing what says in it

The Bible punishes rape with death. Read Lev 22. Read the sermon on the mount or 1 Cor 6.

You will not find a single Christian leader in the world who teaches that the Bible accepts rape.

Where I live, there are two organizations that care for the poor more than anyone else: the salvation army and the rescue mission. The Christian church does a ton to help the poor.

Why do you feel that you are allowed to lie? When you say that the Christian church does not help the poor, you realize that you are lying, don't you? You are lying through your teeth. Do you care if you are a liar, or are you cynical enough to say things even if you don't know if they are true?

THe problem with that - is that they spend FAR more of the money they collect on Administration and fixed costs to be a worthwhile charity. Most of the money goes to the religion and the church. ANd that is NOT charity.

IN addition - they then use their "charity" as a reason to spread what they claim is the "TRUTH" - when we know it is NOT true - it is belief at best.

I am guessing you consider "administration costs" to be things like teaching homeless people the wisdom of the Bible to help them get off the streets and you advocate replacing this teaching with just meeting material needs.

There are some Christians who profit excessively from their ministries, this is an issue, but most do not.
