I'm unsure of how someone can remain an atheist after heavily experiencing DMT.
It's not necessarily that god becomes true, it's just common things like third eyes and snakes and aliens and time travel become real.
You have to let go of your ego and stop fighting your "angels" and "demons". You may turn into something else or jump to someone else's experience - a family member being hurt or so on. It can be hell, empathising with these things, but it releases euphoria afterwards.
Yes, I would rather experience it in depth than 10 years of psychotherapy. However, I would need to trust the shaman.
