What you don't understand SummerQueen is that here in Perth Western Australia there IS a problem with the investigative abilities of the GENERAL Practitioners here.
What I am advocating is that FTR pursue his issues with Specialists.
I have no idea what it is like for you in North Carolina but here it does seem that GENERAL PRACTITIONERS are reluctant to investigate anything that is not remedied from the latest drug representative. Also the amount of Aluminium and Iron III here in our environment is substantially high as far as my understanding goes. Zen has a right fun time running a magnet over any machinery he has to repair.
@FTR DEMAND that your GP reference you to an appropriate Specialist for further investigation. It will cost you, but then it just MAY be worth the effort since you are NOT over 65.
As for fasting?
I have no idea other than an Ayur-Vedic presumption that to send nothing but juices or water through you gastro-intestinal tract gives your metabolic systems a "rest" usually for no more than 7days better less say about 48 hours.
