I'm always willing to hear scientific evidence to the contrary. It's been my experience, however, that juice fasts, and fasts in general that have nothing to do with surgeries or blood tests, are not based on scientific evidence as to their efficacy.
Eating more vegetables and fruit is always a good thing, provided you have a normal digestive and immune system. I don't see any reasoning why eating ONLY such in a juice form (remember, our digestive system breaks down raw foods anyway) would be beneficial, especially if it's all you're eating.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go drop out some 'toxins' with the digestive help of strong coffee.
