I agree with Dotard,
The rules should be obeyed until LG moves out. It would be great if the father would open negotiations on the subject so you can have some input on the rules, but I don't see that happening. My own parents were less than interested in many of my ideas on how the household should be run, and most parents I have met have a similar outlook on things.
Good luck man, just realize that acting like a lawless heathen will only further solidify your father's negative opinion of atheists and could drive a wedge between you and your father.
