Textual evidence only applies to those who believe in the text i.e muslims. You asked me a question about Islam, hence I'm obviously going to invoke Islamic text, doesn't take a genius to figure that one out bud.
I think I've been pretty clear, and I'm not sure why you would open a thread entitled "Any questions on islam" and then tacitly demand that the questioner provide information on subsects of islam, or even have knowledge of them......you're the one who's set yourself up as the "bearer of knowledge" here, in this thread..on this subject.......

No, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out, nor does it take a genius to figure out that textual evidence does not become better or worse for any given proposition based upon whether or not the reader happens to believe in it.....
I suppose, to continue the question and rephrase, what about your textual evidence should I find more compelling than the textual evidence of Zues and his lightning bolts? In what way do they differ?
(and Im still wondering about allahs ability to opt out of punishment)
