You'd think a very clear and accurate portrait of a man who was witnessed defeating death would be available in large abundance. Instead, we have an image that is almost universally accepted as an invention.
Not surprisingly, that invention was mostly shaped by Roman influence, and it should be considered no coincidence that the image of Jesus is similar to that of the Roman god Jupiter.

What has that got to do with the discussion at hand, do you actually know what Nero looked like, or is it what Nero wanted people to see.
