Why would he bother re-growing a limb?

Because he's a supposedly omnibenevolent being with unconditional love for us? Because doing so would be a much firmer miracle than the ones he supposedly performs today? Those reasons?

But if you assert that you will serve him unconditionally if he does, I will ask him to re-grow a limb in front of you sometime.

So will you serve the Christian God unconditinally if he does that?

No. But it'd certainly go a long way to convincing me that he exists. Why would you ever just leap into something sight unseen just on the basis that the thing you're jumping into exists?

That's what people don't know here and wouldn't tell you if they did. You'd have to be a freethinker to investigate whether Jesus encouraged the killing of heretics by "Christians." But "guilt by association" is enough of an argument to satisfy the "logical minds" you find on atheist sites, with a few notable exceptions.

We atheists are also seemingly more aware of the fact that the bible doesn't begin and end with Jesus, apparently. And hell, even the new testament says that witches are evil and will go to hell... wouldn't that make killing them holy in the eyes of your lord? He's kind of got a history with regards to things like that.
