I once met a Russian who told me a Russian joke common in the Stalinist 1950s Soviet Union.
The situation kind of reminded me of that joke.
Quote:A guy walks up to another guy in a tram and wisperes something into his ear:
Person A: Psssst! Can I tell you a joke?
Person B: Yeah sure!
Person A: What do the newspapers and our goverment have in common?
Person B: I dont know?
Person A: You can shove them both up your ass!
Person B: Ha! Can I tell you another one?
Person A: Sure!
Person B: What is the difference between this tram and you?
Person A: I dont know?
Person B: The tram keeps driving on and you are coming with me! Because I am from the secret police.
The situation kind of reminded me of that joke.
