What's not clear is what environmental factors come into play. It's certainly nothing Freudian, like a missing father.

As far as I know, there were no environmental factors that influenced my sexual orientation. I was raised by my father, and I was veritably clueless in regards to homosexuality until I reached puberty, discovered I was sexually attracted to guys, and did my research to figure out why I was different.
