A Show of Gay Pride

Ok people.
My name is Adam.
I am a 15 year old atheist liberal living in the heart of good old Texas.
In the bible belt. -_-

As you can guess, being gay isn't really accepted around here and is publicly disapproved and made fun of.

I hear Austin is pretty weird.

Denton doesn't seem to be bad about it.

Although there might just be hope because there are a few freethinkers among the lot. Out of these people we have come up with the idea to show gay pride off on Monday all through the school day and sorta rub it in the faces of these homophobic and ignorant people.

Any ideas of what we can do?
We are open to any ideas just as long as its peaceful.

You can die. Death is an easily achieved natural stasis... in a sense. Most peaceful thing I can think of.

It was cool to be gay when I was in highschool. Everyone knows in highschool, sexuality is all about who is the coolest (evil as that is to think that producing unwanted children is cool).

How quickly they forget.

I guess the least cool thing to be in any highschool anywhere is gay.

Try having downs syndrome... perspective.

Being on fire is also right up there among the 'least cool things to be'.

I am actualy pritty certain that no other students are as viciously bullied and mistreaded as those who are openly gay.

And that's exactly why you should stop being so sure of things

Some people confuse sarcasm and snarky humor with real debate. It's very common here on the forums. When they cannot defend their position they post some crass image. We're supposed to see how smart they are because they can us Google.

Of the many forms of debate, the only real one is some non-specified form of debate absent several tools of debate. Also, pictures are no longer worth a thousand words, and humans have disbecome beings of both imagery and imagination.

Yup, you're absolutely supposed to use sarcasm and snarky humor, Chad.... after all: how else could we gauge how smart you are?

For a show of gay pride, why not literally put on a show? Queers are known to be lovers of musical theater.
