I think at my age I have a right to believe in what I want to. This isn't me being bratty and saying "I want to do what I want to do."It is one of the things that annoys me the most when people think they have the right to discount someone else's opinions, ideas, or beliefs simply on the basis of age.
As has already been said, it might be best not to say anything until you are absolutely sure you will be okay if they don't accept you.
While your conversion isn't totally similar to mine, I too asked why there had to be a god, and that is what turned me away from the idea. I think that is one of the most fundamental questions to theism, and if there is no reason as to why there has to be a god, why would there be one? I hope you like it here.
