Apparently, several courts, newspapers and independent articles and blogs all seem to think gay marriage bans are unlawful. You guys will sit here and say that they aren't just to support your position of abortion not being murder because it isn't consider "unlawful".
That's their claim, but until a court upholds it, it's just the "claimants" position.....if this shit didn't need to be explained to you you'd make fewer missteps in this sort of discussion. A more accurate description of their position would be "we feel that it -should be- unlawful"...but in arguments over legality, this is pretty much assumed....and in an article about an argument -over- legality, strict adherence to the terms takes a backseat to getting out a narrative - connecting with the reader.
