MrInfidel, I never said that. I said if you were an honest person, you would actually try and understand the issues surrounding the ones you just cut and pasted. It doesn't matter whether Christianity is true or not, you can't just repeat some random stuff you read out of a book. I don't do that, and that is not at all how the Christian faith works.
Atheists are much more reliant on authority than Christians are. The way that Christian belief interacts with authority is very complex and nuanced and would take 100 pages to explain. The way that atheist criticisms of Christianity work is very simple: the atheist takes a 200 page mass market paperback such as "The God Delusion" or some other nonsense by one of the authors you posted (one of the people didn't even have a PhD).
Atheists think that cut and pasting arguments is the same as logic, so long as they trust the the authors who typically aren't even experts in the field they are in (Christopher Hitchens for instance and Richard Dawkins have zero formal training in a field related to religion).
Atheists argue that you don't have to understand religion to argue against it. The atheists argument is based on ignorance.
LOL how to be a good person. What a foolish topic. What about video games and pornography. Sounds like a better one. More adult, more wise. I think video games and pornography are the most serious issues in life. LOL look at me, I am a disgrace.
