I've got the original Shogun here somewhere, and I purchased Shogun 2 but never downloaded it. My computer currently isn't really up for it; I should have a new box up sometime in the next 8 weeks, but I'm not sure it will be capable either. (I didn't plan on gaming, so the card I've got for it is a low-end one, an ATI Radeon HD 5450.) Anyway, I've got a lot of reading to do in the next six weeks (I've committed to reading Middlemarch, among other things, by mid-May). I generally prefer turn-based strategy, but I think I can probably hack TW if it's a mix, but as noted, I won't be ready for about 6 weeks. If I am able sooner, I'll let you know. I am interested, though. (I'm noticing that the Total War series doesn't cover the modern period. I like contemporary strategy as well. WWI and WWII, Korea, Vietnam, etc. I can do Civil War, but it's not a favorite.)
(I suck at strategy games, so I'm a good person to use for a filler that you can scam resources off of.)
(ETA: My new HSF should be here tomorrow or Friday. I've got 60-100 pages to read between now and Monday, but I can probably throw the new box together over the weekend and put a temporary install on it. Provided the video is adequate.)
(ETA: ETA: I've got two sets of 2 TB to transfer/migrate, which may be the limiting factor. Shouldn't take more than 2-3 days, but I don't have any spare large disks until that is done.)
