There is absolutely a line that is drawn very boldly between death by choice and murder. A soldier knows that there is a possiblity of death, but he/she goes boldy on to war to fight for what they believe is right. The police officer knows that there is a possiblity of death in their job as well, but they courageously step forward to defend those who need it and to enforce the laws of the land. The burglar knows that if the police officer catches him/her, then he/she may well be shot and die if they make the wrong move while the officer's gun is drawn. The fetus has no knowledge that it is going to be killed, and therefore has no choice in the matter. The murder victim doesn't wish to die, but does anyway, against his/her wishes. The cow is food. The chicken is food. All animals are beneath humans on the food chain, as you well know. We can't say that animal life is equal to our own, so using the killing of animals in a debate about the morality of the abortion of human fetuses is nonsense.
So tell me Drew ...did the bacteria have "knowledge" that you were going to kill them? How about the food animals? What about the vegetables?
This murder victim of yours is one who is ex-utero and so is a person. Do those who are killed in war KNOW they are going to die?
Again you are trying to equate lower life with our own. And yes they know it is highly likely that they will kill , ,and highly likely that they could be killed.

Now that's complete hypocrisy. And I did not mean the soldiers who die in their profession, I meant the ones they kill. Not everyone who gets killed in a war is a soldier. How can you justify that to yourself, when you think aborting an embryo is murder?
And just out of curiosity, are you for or against death sentences?
I can't justify the loss of innocent life! I never said I could or would! I wouldn't try to justify killing a non soldier in war unless said civilian was a threat to the lives of others.
Against.

Just like you who say what I do and do not value
I never told you what you value, that is the issue of this debate! Everyone is telling everyone else what they value, and all I've done is defend my values and beliefs. So don't put words in my mouth.

Just like you who say what I do and do not value
Again with this?
(April 6, 2013 at 9:47 am)Mr_Dew7 Wrote: I certainly don't fear death!
Then why worry about the death of a bunch of cells?
Because it is more than that, it is a human child that has not been born yet. And I was referencing my own death. You are twisting my words.
(April 6, 2013 at 9:47 am)Mr_Dew7 Wrote: Why should I? And really? Death cult? How did you become so backward?
Christianity is nothing more than a Judaic death cult.....I thought you knew this.
Oh okay, then because you say that's what it is, then you must be right, right?
(April 6, 2013 at 9:47 am)Mr_Dew7 Wrote: And they did not inculcate me in any way.
Are you sure? Have you not "learned your belief" from your parents and priests?
I'm not catholic, I don't have priests, and I don't repent to any man or woman, only to God. And yes my awesome parents taught me all of the values of living a Christian life, in between snorting lines and taking shots.
(April 6, 2013 at 9:47 am)Mr_Dew7 Wrote: I wasn't indoctrinated either unless you think stoners and world of warcraft nerds forced me into my current belief system.
Why would I think that a video game has influenced you? Unless of course you are a victim of inculcation and a user
Exactly, how could I have been indoctrinated by these types of people in Christian beliefs?
(April 6, 2013 at 9:47 am)Mr_Dew7 Wrote: I wasn't a part of any group when I was saved by God.
Yes you were. You were that group of "no hope" who were convinced that they "needed" this "god" to be whole and "saved".... What .............you collect the whole set or something?
No. I was alone, and at the very fucking end of my ropes.
(April 6, 2013 at 9:47 am)Mr_Dew7 Wrote: I didn't begin meeting other Christians until after I was saved.. you don't know what you are talking about.
So says you who know nothing of me, my life, the bullshit I have had to endure because of mindless, insignificant plebeians like yourself who don't have the wit to know that they have options and can be much more than their petty little gods say they can be whilst being butt-fucked over for their hard earned $$
Spare me your empty platitudes and vomitous rhetoric Drew. You are shit scared and only "Feel" safe because you think that some imaginary friend is watching your back. You are pitied more than anything.
I never pretended to know you! I know that you have no idea what you are talking about on the subject of my life and my faith. You are just a hopeless little person trying to fill that void inside you with contempt and lies. Don't come to me pretending to know me, I have not done so to you! I don't know what you've been through, and neither do you know anything of me. I have made my choice and it is final! I didn't come here hoping to be redeemed by an empty husk with a dictionary or anyone else, so don't offer me your "options" when I never asked for them, as I have not done to you!
